Allow us to intoduce ourselves. We are Todd (39) and Butch (42) and are one of those fortunate couples that met "on-line" and it was almost "love at first sentence". We hit it off right away and that was almost 7 wonderful years ago. In Dec of 2000, we had a commitment ceremony and made a public profession of our commitment to each other.
We are now the proud parents of a very active 3 year old son we adopted at birth and is the joy of our lives. As a committed couple and now domesticated parents - our "single" and "childless" friends don't quite have the "time" for us like they use to - and we understand that. Our "interests" are now different than theirs. We are interested in meeting other couples, with or without kids, that enjoy having fun outside of a bar or big social affairs. We enjoy entertaining, cooking is a passion, and eating out at great restauarants. We enjoy interior design, thrift / junk / antique store shopping, anything involving home improvement, reading, landscaping, and our animals (4 cats, 3 dogs). We love to travel, enjoy the mountains, the beach, and want to get a camper soon and begin taking weekend camping trips. We have a loving accepting family and share often with them - and many friends out of town, but we want to build friendships with other couples here in close proximity so that we can do things with or just hang out and have fun.
We would appreciate also, that while we can often get a babysitter, there may be times we have to include our son in our activities. We tend to be home bodies out of necessity but would love to socialize and entertain more here at our house, have folks over, and we are just looking for a reason to do it more.
