We are two Canadian guys (42 and 47) who love to travel and meet people, develop friendships and share travel stories. We live in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia called Cape Breton Island and both work in the Healthcare Industry. We head to NY each fall, take in some theatre and do some shopping. Another place that we love is Fort Lauderdale and I think it's going to become one of our yearly spring destinations. We love to travel all over and our next adventures will be an Atlantis Cruise in January 2009. We've been together now for 8 years. I (David) have two grown children in their early twenties and grandchildren, so I'm a proud Pappa.

David likes gardening, photography, oil painting and Darrin loves to collect, listen to and play music. He is multi talented, plays guitar, drums, piano. We love to travel and have so many places that we have visited and are on our list to visit. We'd love to go back to Europe. A few US Cities that we haven't been to and would like to visit are New Orleans and Philly. And of course we love to explore the Orient and Down Under. We keep picking at our list each year so who knows, maybe some day we'll be saying "Where haven't we been?"

Darrin's favorite artist is Tori Amos. We saw Bette Midler in Arizona; Elton John in Boston; Tori Amos in Toronto; Cyndi Lauper in Fort Lauderdale; Cher in Halifax; Andrea Bocelli in New York; At last count I think Darrin has over 20,000 songs on his iPod and he keeps buying more and more and more. Give me Cher and Tina and I'm a happy camper!

David likes reading self-help books. Big time favorites are Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. My summer read was Barbara Walter's "Audition" and Eat Pray Love. I'm now into Anita Shreve's "The Last Time They Met".

Right now we both are watching : Pushing Daisies, Weeds, The View, Swingtown, Desperate Housewives and Nip/Tuck. David loves OUTQ109 on Sirius Satellite Radio, just loves The Frank DeCaro Show. The Dark Knight was fantastic. I've been just noticing Neil Patrick Harris and I think I have a crush on him.
