We've been together since October 1988 and moved to the St. Louis area (Hazelwood) in May 2008. We moved from Springfield, IL and both work for the same regional airline at Lambert.

Rick is 50 and enjoys the great outdoors. His family used to raise horses, sheep and goats and hopes to be able to so again soon. He enjoys traveling but mostly likes to stay on the ground while doing so.

I'm (John) 40 and enjoy the outdoors, but just as happy with the internet, a good movie or book. I also love to travel but would rather do that at 30,000 feet and get there!

We're as opposite as can be but somehow make it work. Rick is all country boy who loves his westerns and I'm the city kid that loves my sci-fi and pop culture.

Rick: Western authors such as Louie Lamour, Chrisitian and faith based books.

John: Star Trek, J.D. Robb's "In Death" series, Janet Evanovich "Plum Series".
