We have been together for 3 yrs, and going strong with the support of our families, and 3 dogs (2 jack's and 1 beagle basset. We our confident, professional men who like many others work to hard; Rhafick is from Trinidad Tobago and is structural engineers; a gadget junkie and a bit of tech head who also loves the movies, and I am from Utah (I don't know the Osmond's personally nor did I grow up Mormon go figure that one out:) I am spending most of my time working in yard and remolding (so please send condolence to Rhafick it does prevent us from going to movie).. Also I am a media director for a Advertising Agency.
We have "WILMA" to thank for are getting together. After a short time of dating, Rhafick's condo was badly damaged by the hurricane and I insisted he stay with me.. Well I insisted he now never leave.. So we bought the house that take our every weekend.
We try to enjoy life as much as possible, and we enjoy each other, mostly we enjoy cooking and entertaining our friends a family.
Working so hard, and spending so much time on our home, we have lost a lot of social contacts and we also realized that we have few gay couples to hang out with. We would enjoy expanding our group of friends to include couples from all over the world to visit, visit us or just to chat with.
Rhafick is a bit of a tech head luvs the gadgets - I am more of crafts person. Rhafick hates to garden and I do it because someone has to. lol - We both love to cook and entertain. I really enjoy cultural studies and travel. We both wish we could develop a passion for yoga!
Favorite Music:
We love all kinds of music - me mostly jazz standards, or angry white chicks (fonia apple, tori amos, etc.). Rhafick is more disco, oldies, r&b
Books & Authors:
I am reader - so far my favorites are Fine Balance, the Death of Vishnu, and of course God of Small Things. but I hate the fact that this are all Oprah's book club books.. I read stone angel many years ago - very moving and I understand it been made into a movie.. If anyone has seen it please tell me if it was any good before I by the dvd.
Favorite Movies & TV:
Rhafick is the movie goer and tv watcher - I know his fav movie is Moonstruck, and anything with Diane Lane. Again I am a cultural studies junkie so any documentary about anything to do with ancient cultures, so I liked Apocalypto
