Looking for friends in CT.. Been in Litchfield for less than a year now.. One of us is an artist and I manage the business and studio. We have been together for seven years and have three great danes and are looking to meet other couples to spend time with both in the area and in the ten cities that we visit quite often for gallery events and exhibitions.. We have a small estate in Litchfield Ct - we enjoy outdoor land and yardscaping and looking forward to starting a small home orchard and various gardens. Obviously art is our first love - so we are always exploring galleries and art, but antiques are our other passion.. I'd like to say we buy and sell - but mostly buy... Since moving back to New England in late 08 we have so much to explore.. maybe some of you can point us in the right direction!

We enjoy all types of music... I'm going to have to leave the names out because its so various - but we enjoy everything described from country, world (indian, arabic, latin) to new hip hop, 80's, classic rock, alternative, and especially film music - generally we stay away from blues, jazz and classical..

We even have some singer/songwriter collectors of Bobs works - Tom Petty and his wife Dana are collectors (Bob actually did Tom Petty's last cover album artwork) and we were fortunate enough to meet them on a tour a couple years ago when they were in Atlanta. Sheryl Crow is a collector - look forward to meeting her, and Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are collectors as well.

David Sedaris and a lot of non-fiction and biographies.. maybe I should take a picture of our library.. most recently read was "The Trust" - the history of the New York Times.

Bob is about half way through writing his own book.

Bravo seems to be our channel of choice - enjoying all the Real Housewives Series.. Who doesn't enjoy a little Judge Judy! Especially when we've had the pleasure of meeting her (she also is a collector of Bob's work)..
